Please note that our supply of specimen bottles is limited. As a result, we are unable to provide specimen bottles for secondary care requests, such as hospital appointments.
Unfortunately, we do not receive replacement bottles for those given out in these cases. Providing bottles for secondary care would risk depleting our stock, leaving us unable to meet the needs of patients requiring them for routine chronic disease monitoring or urgent testing.
If you require a specimen pot for a hospital appointment, then please contact the hospital to check if they can provide a bottle or visit the local pharmacy.
In order to improve this situation, we are in communications with secondary care providers to explore the possibility of obtaining additional bottles to better support our patients.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
