Healthwatch Norfolk | Preparing for later life in Norfolk

Posted on:

Healthwatch Norfolk is the independent voice for patients, service users and carers in the county. We gather people’s views of health and social care services in Norfolk and make sure they are heard by the people in charge.

Healthwatch Norfolk is working with Norfolk County Council (NCC) to find out how people are getting ready for later life, and what support they might need to stay independent for as long as possible. We want to hear from people in Norfolk about what planning they’re already doing and how the Council could help them.

This survey is aimed at people aged 55 and over living in Norfolk, who are not receiving regular help from social care. That means you don’t have carers visit you at home to look after you on an ongoing basis, or live in a care home. Occasional help with transportation or attending a day centre, for example, doesn’t count as regular support.

We’d like to hear what you’re doing to prepare for getting older, and what help you would like to prepare better.
